Sitters

Other people, as we now know from Sartre, are Hell. But they are not solely hell, they are, in transactional terms, different . . . . from ourselves and from each other. Thus, the Hell that emanates from another’s presence is the consequence of those differences. 

Look at any circumstance in which there is more than one person in a setting. You will notice a ‘situation’ developing due to the proximity of disparate personalities. They have become “Sitters.”
