Intersections
Looking at four directions at the same time. Similar activity occurring in four directions. Is it narrative? Surreality? Or spatio-temperal disjuncture?
Really, one must question what they are looking at, what they perceive, and what they are actually seeing in order to make sense of a misalignment.
These images try to create a space for a viewer to contemplate how one accomplishes the above operations.
Distractions are refined in order to heighten one’s ability to enter a space. But the artist is continually present, as evinced by the omnipresent truck, challenging the viewer to abandon their ingrained inclination to read from left to right.
